1st Band Concert, Christmas Show, School Play, Christmas Party and Wax Museum

The kids have lots of school activities.  We were really busy before the holidays.

Anna's first band concert.  I was amazed how great they sounded to have only been playing for a few months. The Christmas songs sounded great!

Anna and her new friends at Concordia.

Jackson's Christmas performance. He had lots of fun learning all the words to over 7 Christmas songs. His class even did a dance, :-).
Here Anna is in her Drama play at Concordia.  She was a blind stepmother.
Anna was "Anne Bailey" in her Wax Museum. This was a lot of work. She had to do a 4 minute presentation and create a flip book.  Her costume was challenging for me.  I had to get her a hat here for the US via a neighbor's niece that was flying here from Florida.  I had to have her coat and skirt made at the fabric market.  We borrowed the hatchet from another friend.

Anna's hair looked rough that day. Anne Bailey lived in the woods and always looked rough!
Jackson's Christmas party at school. This is his two best friends, Alex and Adam.

The class did a really cool activity. Each kid had to bring a wrapped book. The teacher read The Night before Christmas.  She added lots of "lefts" and "rights" to the story.  The kids kept passing the wrapped books around the circle left and right. At the end of the story, the kids got to keep the book in their hands. Very creative!
